24 HOUR POTA CAMPOUT
24 Hour POTA Campout
You heard it right! Live Free and Ham will be organizing a 24-hour POTA Activation Event! We will be setting up at Greenfield State Park (US-2655) for a full 24 hours of activation. This will be a campout event to remember!
The event is scheduled for September 6th to 7th, 2025. We have reserved a special area of the park where everyone can camp or park their trailers. Please note that the park will not have camper hookups, so “boondocking” will be necessary for the weekend. There will be bathrooms available for tent campers.
We are looking to arrange catering for the weekend, but we need a better headcount to provide an accurate number. Again, this will be a 24-hour POTA event. We’ll be operating with the Live Free and Ham Callsign (W1LFH) and will be live-streaming the event for the full 24 hours. We are also working to include giveaway prizes for both attendees and online participants from several of our sponsors.
Families are encouraged to attend, but note it will be your responsibility to provide entertainment and watch your kids as this event will be focused on activating the park and socializing, but since the park will be winding down their season, family activities may be unavailable.
