Reserve your site by registering. We can accept payment electronically or via PayPal. Do not register for a site (as we have a reserved a Private Group Space)
If you would like to come early you can note that in the registration. You’ll just need to pay for an additional night. (30$ per site)

24hour POTA Stream/Event:
We will be operating one (1) POTA Station using the club callsign W1LFH. We will have all the necessary equipment, including logging, radios, and antennas, set up for the event and are seeking volunteers to sign up for operating shifts for the full 24 hours.
Catered Food Event (Sat - lunch/dinner / Sun - breakfast) 55$ per person.

Antenna: Buddie Pole Hex Antenna w/ Messi & Peloni Flex (LMR400)
Battery: 100Ah with additional backups
Logging: Mini PC with two Screens, keyboard/mouse with cat control

Yes! We have a quick sign up sheet where folks can pick a time slot(s) to operate as W1LFH.

You are 100% able to. We just ask that if you want to activate the park on your own that you pick a location away from the site as not to interfere with the activation.

Welcome to the official page of the 24-Hour LFH POTA Campout!
We have finally worked out all the details of this EPIC event and hopefully have addressed everything!
This event runs from September 6th through Sunday, the 7th. We will be running one POTA station (configuration below) on all modes (SSB/CW/Digital). This will be 100% live-streamed all weekend on the Live Free and Ham YT Channel.
We will offer the option for individuals to arrive one day earlier (Friday) if you would like to come in advance. However, an additional fee will be charged for the extra night. Please note that event catering is only available for Saturday and Sunday, so you will need to provide your own food for Friday evening. If there is enough interest, we can work out a potluck for that evening for everyone.
Stuff to know:
Camping:
Camping rates are per site and cover up to 4 persons. The fee is 30$ a night. The Live Free and Ham Crew will be there Friday afternoon for early setup, and all are invited to stay that evening (additional night fee required).
Bringing a Trailer?
There will be no trailer hookups; it's 100% boondocking for water, power, and sewer. The site will be a level, wide-open space. You can bring your generators, but please make sure they are quiet and have decent RFI protection.
Ground Camping (Glamping):
There will be bathroom facilities available in our camping area, but please note that showers are not included. Feel free to bring all your usual camping items for your stay.
FOOD:
24 Hour POTA
We will be offering food (catered) on Saturday and Sunday. You are not required to participate and are welcome to bring your own meals. The meal plan is 55$ per person and covers:
Saturday Afternoon - Pizzas with water/soda
Saturday Evening - Catered BBQ (From 603 BBQ) consisting of Pulled Pork, Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Coleslaw, Mac &Cheese, and BBQ Beans. Water/Soda provided.
Sunday Morning - Muffins/Bagels with Coffee
This is the private location we will be setup at.
We will be running a 24-hour live stream from 1 pm (1300) on Saturday afternoon to 1 pm on Sunday. We are looking for individuals to join us and operate! You don’t need any prior experience or a license (as we’ll have a licensed person with you). We will be using the Club Call W1LFH, so you’ll have access to all the bands and privileges during the weekend.
We will have a sign-up that allows you to secure a slot if you wish. Otherwise, if you're there for the weekend, feel free to activate a spot when one becomes available.
We will also be hanging out and doing random giveaways, etc. As we stated, this will be live-streamed, so if you want to come and get your “15 seconds” of YT fame, you can make some contacts and interact with the chat!
Are there other activities available to me?
We will be located next to a fully stocked pond, where you can fish. Please remember to obtain a day fishing license and bring your own equipment.
There are several hiking trails in and around the park that offer beautiful views of the fall scenery.
Swimming will be available for those who are brave enough to take the plunge!
We will also have space for various outdoor games. If you have games like horseshoes, bocce, or similar items, feel free to bring them along and set up a mini tournament.

As the weekend approaches, we will send out additional communications regarding details, arrival times, and directions.
We encourage you to use the #24hpotacampout channel on the Live Free and Ham Discord to introduce yourself and coordinate any items you'd like to bring, such as beer or liquor swaps, games, or anything else to enhance the event.
