This is a pretty typical outdoors shack here in Western Norway. You start at the bottom of a valley and have to hike up to get to either an SOTA, POTA, or some other sort of reference.

The hike in these pictures is a short one up to the viewpoint over amazing Månafossen, one of the major local tourist attractions. I went a bit off the beaten path to find a relaxing spot.

Equipment-wise, I brought a Yaesu FT-891, a 10 Ah LiFePo4 battery, and a JPC-12 antenna, all parts of my gear for light hikes like this one.
