I don't have a home shack for HF at all, so almost everything I do is in, on, or near the car. My usual radios are the FT-710, the IC-7100, and the FX-4CR, so I have photos showing me using all three. During warmer weather, I'm most likely to set up at the tailgate of my Santa Fe, with a Chameleon Tactical Delta Loop or some sort of vertical. I like to band-hop when I POTA, so I like the TDL for its lazy multi-bandedness; but I'm not so lazy that I won't get up and readjust a vertical and its radials (if I'm doing something like the POTA PERformer that needs tuned radials).

I wound up not including any pictures of **me** in the five, but for a chair, I most often use the TCEK 360 Swivel Chair. It's incredibly light, so even if I'm actually walking away from the car to set up at a table in the park, it's easy to carry. It's surprisingly comfortable and can handle the fact that I'm not a lightweight.

For power, my go-to these days (pictured in at least one of these) is the Redodo Group 24 100Ah Bluetooth battery. Is it overkill? Yes, until you realize that I also have a PowerPole strip and a Tufteln 12V-to-USB-C converter, which means I can keep my laptop, phone, or hotspot topped off while also pushing full 100W power, and still get three or four activations out of the battery before I need to recharge it. Given that I'm rarely hiking far from the car, its 20lbs weight is not a problem. I also have two different 20Ah batteries I'll use on occasion, especially if I know I will be going further afield and want less weight to heft.

I added one of my activation videos, which shows the antenna setup and the chair and etc as well near the beginning on a day when I was using the FX-4CR.
